Warning: the concept is entirely experimental!
This piece of addon can be attached to the original rudder to improve left (or right) steering when the original steering configuration is located closer to one side of the boat. One small screw hole must be drilled on the upper part of the original rudder (also use very strong AB glue) for the attachment.
This one has an overall length of 50mm, which can be used on a 60mm rudder:
