Cura can automatically generate support for build plate adhesion. There are things that are tricky though.
Say these two pieces are included in one single STL file. When this file is brought into Cura, build plate adhesion is automatically generated on both ends of the model. It is not clever enough to find out that this model is actually in two pieces – there is no adhesion support in the middle! Possible warping and poor adhesion will result.
To fix this problem, either separate the pieces into two different files, OR rearrange the layout to have them placed in parallel.
