This is a modified hub carrier for Optima.
The primary difference between this one and the stock one is that this one does NOT allow you to mount the bottom end of the shock onto it. Instead the shock needs to be mounted onto the lower arm (there is a screw hole on the lower arm for this purpose anyway). The rationale is that the lower arm should provide a mor reliable and solid mounting point.
