Water-soluble support material

Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) is a water-soluble synthetic polymer commonly used as a support material in 3D printing. It is particularly valued for its solubility in water, making it an excellent choice for creating supports that can be easily removed after printing. It is typically paired with materials like PLA and PetG.

Modern PVA will take an hour or two to get softened (depending on the amount ratio of material and water as well as water temperature – generally the warmer the better).

The printer must be able to support multi-material printing though.
